When’s the Upcoming Fortnite Live Event Happening?

The upcoming live event for Fortnite is just around the corner, and it has some big shoes to fill after the recent Remix: The Prelude event that launched Chapter 2: Remix a few weeks ago. Excitement is building for this next event, especially since a countdown timer has appeared in the game lobby. This time, the Remix: The Finale event will pay tribute to the late Juice WRLD and his fondness for Fortnite, featuring performances of his music and offering a special reward. Everyone who attends will receive an exclusive outfit for a limited time. Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite live event, including its start time and what to expect.

Currently, details about the live event are limited, but it’s confirmed that any player who logs in between November 30 at 1 AM EST and December 1 at 1 AM EST (10 PM PST / 6 AM GMT) will earn a cel-shaded Slayer Juice WRLD Outfit for free. A teaser clip at the end of the Chapter 2 Remix Trailer shows Juice WRLD standing on a beach, gazing out at the ocean. As the final Fortnite rapper introduced, it includes a clue: “It’s not a lucid dream. Draw your eye to the setting sun at the WRLD Point landmark,” hinting at possible in-game appearances.

If you check out the main art for Chapter 2: Remix, you’ll notice the number 999 in the clouds at the top right corner. This number is significant to Juice WRLD, as he had it tattooed on himself. He once explained in an interview that 999 symbolizes “taking whatever ill, whatever bad situation, whatever struggle you’re going through and turning it into something positive to help you move forward.”

If you head to Rainbow Rentals, which is located to the southwest of Holly Hedges, you’ll spot a poster for the Fortnite live event near the Juice WRLD graffiti on the end hut. This poster lists all the rappers featured in Chapter 2: Remix, suggesting they might gather for a massive concert. From this location, you can also catch a glimpse of a large depiction of Juice WRLD watching over the horizon, as seen in the image at the top of this guide.
