Ordovis’s Greatsword is a sacred blade granted to one of the two Crucible Knights, featuring strength attributes and delivering holy damage to foes in Elden Ring.
To get your hands on this remarkable greatsword, you’ll need to conquer a pair of bosses hidden within a lesser-known dungeon. Allow us to guide you on your journey to obtain Ordovis’s Greatsword and craft a powerful Strength/Faith build around it.
Where to Find Ordovis’s Greatsword
You can acquire Ordovis’s Greatsword after defeating the Crucible Knight Ordovis within Azuria Hero’s Grave.
This location is situated in the eastern region of the Altus Plateau, just outside Leyndell, the Royal Capital. To reach the dungeon, head toward Leyndell from the Grand Lift of Dectus until you reach the Outer Wall Phantom Tree Site of Grace.
From there, head northeast until you reach the Minor Erdtree. Continue along the southeast path to locate the entrance to Azuria Hero’s Grave.
This dungeon is quite extensive, filled with numerous Skeleton enemies and lethal chariots. Make your way through Azuria Hero’s Grave until you reach the boss arena.
Once you enter, you’ll face off against two bosses concurrently: the Crucible Knight along with Crucible Knight Ordovis. This encounter can become chaotic in no time, so we highly suggest employing Mimic Tear Ashes to help level the playing field.
Maintain your distance and attack only during openings. Upon their defeat, Crucible Knight Ordovis will drop Ordovis’s Greatsword.
