The Season 1 Battle Pass for Marvel Rivals offers a variety of vampire-themed cosmetics, which you can unlock using Chrono Tokens. To gain access to these items, you’ll need to purchase the Luxury Battle Pass, although there are also some free rewards available for all players. The unlocking process can be a bit tricky since everyone must collect Chrono Tokens throughout the season to unlock different pages on the Battle Pass, dividing it into multiple tiers. Below, I’ll break down everything you need to know about the Battle Pass in Marvel Rivals and how to claim rewards.
What is the cost of the Marvel Rivals Battle Pass?
To purchase the Marvel Rivals Luxury Battle Pass, which unlocks all available rewards, it costs 990 Lattice. You can buy 1,000 Lattice for $9.99 / £7.99 in the game store, making the price roughly equivalent. There’s also an option for an upgraded Luxury Battle Pass, which gives you an initial 2,800 Chrono Tokens and a 20% boost in earning extra tokens throughout the season, priced at 2,100 Lattice, with 2,180 Lattice costing $19.99 / £15.99—essentially double the base cost.
If you want to play without paying, there are still numerous free rewards available in the Marvel Rivals Battle Pass, and I’ll cover all of those details later in this guide.
How to access rewards from the Marvel Rivals Battle Pass
To claim rewards from the Marvel Rivals Battle Pass, you must spend Chrono Tokens, which can be earned on both the free and Luxury passes. There are two ways to gather these tokens: first, by completing tasks available in the Missions tab, including Daily Missions, Challenges, and specific Event Missions, which will show how many tokens you’ll earn upon completion. The second method is to swap Lattice directly for Chrono Tokens, but this can get pricey, so it’s advisable to reserve this option for when you truly need a specific reward.
Most rewards cost 200 Chrono Tokens, though costumes will typically cost 400. Additionally, to unlock the next pages of the Battle Pass, you need to earn a total of 1,200 Chrono Tokens for each page. Remember, this refers to the total tokens earned throughout the season, not just your current balance, as it doesn’t consider any tokens you’ve used. You can always check your progress by looking at the Chrono Tokens icon in the Battle Pass screen where your Redemption Account balance will be displayed alongside your current tokens.
At the end of the season, you can carry over any unspent Chrono Tokens, but only up to your Redemption Account balance. For example, if your balance shows 4,000 tokens spent during the season, but you have 5,000 unspent, you will only be able to move over 4,000 to the next season.
