In the latest updates for Jujutsu Infinite, players have been excited to see the introduction of World Bosses! These bosses are quite different from your typical enemies; they spawn randomly at specific locations on the map at certain intervals.
World Bosses are formidable foes that are best tackled with the help of other players, as taking them on solo can be extremely challenging. However, if you succeed in defeating them, you can expect some fantastic rewards. Currently, three World Bosses are in the game, and we’ll give you the details on how to locate them, effective battle strategies, and the rewards you can earn.
Overview of World Bosses
To catch a glimpse of these World Bosses, you’ll need to keep an eye out for a couple of key signals: the time and a distinctive yellow outline around the boss’s hitbox, which can be seen even through walls and other objects.
The bosses spawn every hour on the hour, so make sure to log in at XX:00 server time. You’ll see chat notifications when they appear, but the yellow outline is your best indicator to find them quickly. Once you spot it, head toward the glowing outline.
Let’s dive into specifics about each World Boss.
Egg Jaw
Egg Jaw appears near a local graveyard which you may have encountered during quests. This boss can be quite troublesome, so it’s advised not to take it on solo unless you’re equipped with powerful cursed techniques or strong buffs. Bring friends or rally other players for support.
Egg Jaw is known for its speed and tricky attacks that include sudden jumps and debuffs that inflict poison on players. The best strategy is to keep your distance to dodge attacks until it enters a vulnerable phase. Once it’s stunned, unleash all your cursed techniques and attacks to maximize damage. To receive rewards, ensure you deal at least 15% of the total damage:
- Egg Jaw Eyeballs
- World Boss Chests
Mantis Curse
In contrast to Egg Jaw, Mantis Curse is larger and equally powerful. However, this boss is often easier to defeat in confined spaces where you can use environmental items to shield yourself from its wind-based attacks and launch counterattacks.
After each attack, Mantis Curse enters a stun phase—make the most of this window to inflict as much damage as you can.
Additionally, because Mantis Curse is rather large, it can sometimes get stuck on obstacles, providing moments of vulnerability. If you manage to corner it or lure it with Curse Tendril, capitalize on the situation and unleash as much damage as possible.
If you’re successful in defeating this boss, you will earn:
- Mantis Arms
- World Boss Chests
Monk of the Lake
The Monk of the Lake is considered one of the toughest World Bosses to confront. Its agility combined with powerful area-of-effect attacks can dominate the battlefield, making it a formidable opponent.
Your best chance against this boss is a hit-and-run strategy. You’ll need to stay alert and concentrate on dodging those heavy AoE attacks.
Although small in size, trying to approach it or pulling it in with Curse Tendril can be beneficial. While risky, if you pull it off, you can then execute several powerful attacks.
Don’t worry; like the other World Bosses, you can keep trying to defeat the Monk of the Lake, and when you die, you will respawn nearby!
Defeating the Monk of the Lake will grant you the following rewards:
- Monk Beads
- World Boss Chests
With these rewards, you can create impressive armor, weapons, or accessories that improve your abilities. Here are the crafted items you can create using the unique drops from the World Bosses:
