As you build your character and embark on a new adventure in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, you’ll have the chance to design your digital identity to fit your vision. However, as you dive deeper into the game, you may find yourself craving a fresh look that reflects your evolving journey.
Fortunately, you can update your appearance eventually; the downside is that you have to wait a bit. Here’s what you need to know about changing your character’s look and personalizing your outfits.
When Can You Change Your Appearance?
After you complete the Chapter Three quest titled ‘Digging Up Secrets of the Past’ and meet the famous miner, you’ll acquire the Sturdy Wheelbarrow. At this point, you’ll be prompted to head back to the Base Camp in present time.
When you arrive, you’ll find your little pals have been busy and have built a new Guild structure for you to check out. While you won’t be able to use the services right away—since you’ll need to cure your Strangeling and establish a home first—you will gain the ability to change your appearance afterward.
How To Change Your Appearance
To change your look, go to the Guild in Base Camp and talk to Boyle on the left side. This will open up the opportunity to fully customize your character again, just like during the initial creation process. You can modify your name, physical features, and even your voice.
You can also update your Island Name with Boyle.
How To Change Your Outfit
If you’re looking to switch up your character’s outfit, you’re in luck; you’re not limited to the best gear you own. You have the freedom to express your style however you wish.
From the main menu, select ‘Outfits’ and create a new look for each Life you’ve unlocked. You’ll still benefit from the stats of the armor and items you currently have equipped, while the Outfits feature allows you to alter your appearance for a fresh look by mixing and matching garments.
