Popular RPG Games Leaving PlayStation Plus in September

Sony is expected to announce the games departing from PS Plus Extra and Premium in September 2026 soon. Based on previous patterns, we’re providing our monthly predictions for titles likely to be removed. Fans of Persona games should consider playing Persona 5 Tactica soon, as it will mark its one-year anniversary on the service.

As a reminder, most games tend to leave the platform after 12 or 24 months. Occasionally, some titles may exit after six months. These predictions are based on that typical timeline and are intended to give players a heads-up.

Games added in September 2024, which remain available, include Under the Waves, Chernobylite Complete Edition, Space Engineers, and Ben 10. Far Cry 5 also stays in the catalog but is less likely to leave because it’s part of Ubisoft+.

Looking at titles added a year ago, besides Persona 5 Tactica, the other games still accessible are Green Hell, Fate/Samurai Remnant, Crow Country, The Invincible, and Conscript.

We will update readers as soon as the official departure list is announced. It’s anticipated that Sony will update the PS Store’s Last Chance to Play section by August 18.
