In *Cyberpunk 2077*, the wardrobe feature allows players to customize their look without sacrificing performance. This new system functions similarly to a transmog feature, enabling you to keep your best gear while changing your appearance. You can save up to six different outfits and easily switch between them whenever you want. To access your wardrobe, simply head to any of V’s apartments. Here’s a breakdown of how to use this exciting wardrobe feature in *Cyberpunk 2077*.
Using the Cyberpunk 2077 Wardrobe Feature
This wardrobe feature was introduced in the Edgerunners update as a quality-of-life improvement. There’s no need to complete a mission or interact with any NPCs to use it; just head back to your apartment to access your outfit options. So, if your top gear looks something like this…
…you can now play without having to wear it.
To create your desired look while keeping your hidden gear’s stats, visit your clothing closet in your apartment. The first time you do this, you’ll receive a message informing you:
This message highlights that you can freely combine any clothing items to create a custom outfit. This will allow you to choose your appearance without affecting the actual stats of your equipped gear. You can mix and match pieces and save up to six different combinations for later use.
When you check your character tab afterward, you’ll see all the gear you have equipped along with the outfit number you are currently using. Switching between your saved outfits is simple—just select the outfit you’d like to wear. If you return to the game after some time away, keep in mind that the update also introduced new weapons to try out in *Cyberpunk 2077*.
