By using Strawberry Crates to restore cabins on Friendship Island and other areas, you can make various characters potential visitors. To secure their stay, you’ll need to decorate the cabins in line with their taste.
Did you know Hello Kitty’s family can be among these guests? By making her sister, mother, and father permanent residents, you will unlock the Family Vacation quest. This guide will outline the steps required to complete it.
Quests to Finish Before Starting Family Vacation
The Family Vacation quest is part of the Friendship Quests in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Before you can take it on, you must complete a few prerequisite quests. Here’s a quick list of the necessary quests in order:
However, even after finishing these quests, you won’t instantly unlock the Family Vacation quest. You must also have specific visitors arrive at the Visitor Cabins, and they need to achieve a five-star rating. These visitors are all members of Hello Kitty’s family, making it fitting for the quest. The required visitors include:
- George White (Hello Kitty’s dad)
- Mary White (Hello Kitty’s mom)
- Mimmy (Hello Kitty’s sister)
To encourage these visitors to come to your island, you’ll need to meet the specific conditions that make them potential visitors. Just because they are listed doesn’t guarantee they will move into a Visitor Cabin.
Requirements for Mimmy’s Visitor Cabin
Mimmy, Hello Kitty’s twin sister, can become a visitor without any unique prerequisites. However, there are three general requirements to do so:
- An available Visitor Cabin must be located near Hello Kitty in the Seaside Resort.
- The Visitor Cabin needs to have at least five Hello Kitty-themed furniture items.
- The Visitor Cabin should include two furniture items from the Bakery category.
After fulfilling these requirements, Mimmy will move into her designated Visitor Cabin as an island resident.
Note: To make Mary White and George White permanent visitors, ensure that Mimmy is already a permanent resident.
Requirements for Mary White’s Visitor Cabin
Mary White, Hello Kitty’s beloved mother, can become a visitor after you reach Friendship Level 20 with Hello Kitty. Once you’ve achieved that, you’ll need to satisfy four more conditions:
- There must be an available Visitor Cabin near Hello Kitty in the Seaside Resort.
- The Visitor Cabin needs to contain at least three Hello Kitty-themed furniture items.
- The Visitor Cabin must have an Oven.
- Mimmy must already be a permanent visitor in her respective Cabin.
Oven Crafting Materials:
- Mechanism: 10
- Flour: 100
- Spark: 5
Once these conditions are met, Mary White will officially become a resident.
Requirements for George White’s Visitor Cabin
George White, Hello Kitty’s father, can join as a visitor after you reach Friendship Level 20 with Hello Kitty. After this, you’ll need to fulfill five conditions:
- An available Visitor Cabin must be near Hello Kitty in the Seaside Resort.
- The Visitor Cabin should contain five items from the Antique category.
- The Cabin must include one item from the Book category.
- It also needs to have one item from the Comic category.
- Mimmy has to be a permanent visitor in her Cabin.
You can buy the Antique furniture from My Melody’s shop, Small Gift Big Smile.
Once you satisfy all these conditions, George White will become a permanent resident.
How to Make Hello Kitty’s Family Permanent Residents
Even after Mimmy, Mary White, and George White settle into their cabins, you will not be able to initiate the Family Vacation quest just yet. The last requirement is to ensure all three characters achieve a five-star permanent resident rating.
This involves completing all of their daily requests. Once you have accomplished that, you will finally unlock the Family Vacation quest.
Tip: These characters switch between staying in their Visitor Cabins and going on excursions. Keep an eye on their daily requests when they’re on the island.
Mimmy’s Daily Requests
Mimmy will have five daily requests for you to complete. Here’s what you need to do:

After you finish all of Mimmy’s daily quests, talk to her about remaining on Friendship Island. Once that’s done, Mary White and George White will also officially become island residents in their Visitor Cabins.
George White’s Daily Requests
George White will also have five requests for you:

Completing the Family Vacation Quest
Now that you’ve made Mimmy, George White, and Mary White five-star residents, you can proceed with the Family Vacation quest. First, head over to Mary White and talk to her about wanting a day with her family. After that, you’ll need to speak with her two daughters.
Start with Mimmy, who will agree without any pushback. Your next task is to talk to Hello Kitty, who will express concerns about her unfinished orders. To assist her, you should bake and give her five of each of the following treats using her shop’s oven:

After giving these treats, Hello Kitty will head to the beach to meet her family and invite you along. Exit her shop and proceed directly to the beach to take a photo with Hello Kitty and her family.
The family will then move to Pompompurin’s Dessert Boat in Gemstone Mountain. Fast travel to the Oasis mailbox in Gemstone Mountain and wait for everyone to arrive. When they do, speak with Hello Kitty again to snap another shot.
The final location is the dock at the northeastern part of the Seaside Resort. Fast travel to the Resort Gate, then go northwest of Chococat’s crafting bench to get there. Here, talk to Hello Kitty once more and take a final photo. Once you’ve captured this last moment, speak with Hello Kitty again to complete the Family Vacation quest!
