Introducing the Cursed-Blood Pot, an eerie ritual vessel adorned with the emblem of the blood lord. This unique item lets your summoned spirits lock onto a chosen foe in Elden Ring. It holds a special place in the heart of Mohg, making it a chilling yet captivating addition to your arsenal.
This guide will provide you with the steps to craft the Cursed-Blood Pot in Elden Ring and tips on how to wield it effectively to tackle challenging encounters.
Crafting the Cursed-Blood Pot
To obtain the recipe for the Cursed-Blood Pot, you’ll need the Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook [12], which is located at the Rose Church in Central Liurnia.
The Rose Church is situated south of the Raya Lucaria Academy and to the northwest of where you first enter Liurnia, following your victory over Godrick, the Grafted.
Upon acquiring the Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook [12], you’ll need to gather specific ingredients to craft the Cursed-Blood Pot.
For Mushrooms, you can easily gather a large supply from the open areas of Limgrave and Liurnia. Additionally, Boc the Seamster rewards you with 10 mushrooms when you engage in his questline.
Beast Blood can be reliably obtained from lesser Ruenbears found in the Weeping Peninsula region, which lies to the east of Limgrave. Alternatively, you can farm Lion Guardians for Beast Blood as well.
To collect Bloodrose, hunt down Putrid Corpses in Mohgwyn Palace. You can also find it by looting locations within Rose Church and Mohgwyn Palace.
The game includes a total of 10 empty Ritual Pots. The simplest method to acquire one is by purchasing it from Pidia, the Carian servant located in Caria Manor. You may also find one in the Raya Lucaria Academy (near the Schoolhouse Classroom site of Grace) and two in Jarburg.
Using the Cursed-Blood Pot
The Cursed-Blood Pot serves a singular purpose: it enables your spirit summons to target the enemy affected by the pot.
This item is particularly useful against bosses that spawn minions or in scenarios where multiple enemies are present. By using the pot, you can direct your summons, like the Mimic Tear, to focus solely on the boss while you deal with other threats in the area.
Keep in mind that the Cursed-Blood Pot cannot be sold to merchants. After being utilized, you can reuse the empty Ritual Pot to craft another one, provided you have the necessary materials.
