One of the standout features of Palworld is the diverse range of unique Pals that players can encounter. The Pals you find at the beginning may seem fairly standard, but as you venture into new regions, you’ll discover increasingly interesting creatures.
As you explore, you’ll also come across Pals that are more powerful and beneficial for both your team and your base. Have you thought about capturing one of the more enigmatic and spooky Pals like Omascul this time around?
How to Find Omascul
Omascul is a Dark-type Pal with an owl-like appearance and a mask, making it quite mysterious. You can only find this elusive creature in a particular area: Feybreak Island. However, be cautious; this area is home to high-level Pals. It’s recommended that you be at least level 50 before you attempt to explore it, as you could face serious threats.
Feybreak Island consists of various biomes and is located in the southwest part of the map. Attempting to fly there with an aerial Pal can be difficult, as anti-aircraft defenses may shoot you down before you land. It’s safer to approach the island using a swimming Pal.
You can find Omascul in the southeastern section of Feybreak Island, particularly in areas characterized by purple soil. Omascul appears both during the day and at night. Most of these Pals will be above level 50, and being a Dark-type, using Dragon-type Pals will give you an advantage in battles against them.
If capturing Omascul is your goal, be sure to use at least a Legendary Sphere. However, using Ultimate or Exotic Spheres will greatly improve your chances. Additionally, each Omascul you defeat or capture will yield a material called Dark Fragment, which is important for crafting certain items.
Locating Alpha Boss Omascul
You can also find an Alpha Boss Omascul on Feybreak Island. If you’re looking to catch a stronger version of Omascul, head here. The coordinates for this Alpha Boss are –1184, -1489, and it is level 55. It’s wise to have Dragon-type Pals in your lineup before challenging it.
Partner Skills and Work Suitability
Omascul has a Partner Skill called Masquerade Dance. When this Pal is part of your team, all Pals gain extra experience points. This helps speed up the leveling process for your Pals, saving you time.
However, when it comes to Work Suitability, Omascul is not very strong. With a Gathering level of just one and lacking other significant abilities, it’s not ideal for tasks around your base.
