When you’ve wrapped up the main quests in Infinity Nikki, there’s plenty of enjoyable side content awaiting you, including the Forced Perspective questline. The game offers a wealth of activities beyond the main quests, providing hours of engagement and essential resources such as Diamonds, Shiny Bubbles, and Blings. One interesting series of side quests is the Forced Perspective series, where creativity in photography is key to completing each assignment.
In Infinity Nikki, you take on the role of Nikki, who finds herself in Miraland with the Heart of Infinity. This unique item sets her on a mission to collect the Miracle Outfits. As you gather and craft various Miracle Outfits like Wishful Aurosa, you’ll also meet numerous Miraland residents seeking help with diverse tasks. While some side quests are easy to navigate, others may require a bit of thought.
Unlocking and Completing Forced Perspective: Catching a Big Fish
To access the quest Catching a Big Fish and most other quests in the Forced Perspective series, you need to complete two introductory quests that explain the mechanics of this side quest line. After finishing these initial tasks, you can discover additional Forced Perspective quests throughout your explorations in Miraland. The quests required to unlock Catching a Big Fish are Forced Perspective: Caged Bird and Forced Perspective: Capturing the Thief, in that order.
Tip: Ensure your aperture is set to f16 for all quests in the Forced Perspective series.
How to Start the Forced Perspective Quests
To get started on the Caged Bird quest, locate Ginona on the deck of a house situated to the right of the bridge near the Florawish Lane Warp Spire. For her quest, you simply need to capture a photo of an empty birdcage, positioning it so that the bird decorations appear to be inside it. Next, head to the Florawish Guard House to meet Toran, who is looking for an image of a criminal behind bars. To complete his quest, move to the side of the guard house to locate a criminal poster, then snap a photo with the poster framed by the bars of a fence. Upon completing these tasks, you can pursue other Forced Perspective quests throughout Miraland.
Completing Forced Perspective: Catching A Big Fish
Once you’ve completed the prerequisite quests, visit the Meadow Wharf Warp Spire in Breezy Meadow to find Viliak at the docks. When you speak with her, Viliak describes her challenge: she needs a picture of a big fish on a hook, but she’s having trouble capturing it.
Head down the docks toward a small boat in the water that you can board, and then face toward the dock. You’ll spot a large hook and a crate covered by cloth featuring a fish graphic. Take a picture showing the hook in the fish’s mouth and hand it to Viliak to finish the quest.
Rewards for Forced Perspective: Catching a Big Fish
Upon successfully completing the quest, Viliak will reward you with 10 Diamonds and 3 Upgrade Packs. Upgrade Packs can be utilized to improve Momo’s camera, giving you access to new features. This may seem unusual, but upgrading the camera allows you to unlock various options in photo mode, such as enhanced lighting, poses, or filters, enabling you to elevate your in-game photography.

There’s a vast array of activities in Infinity Nikki, so stay engaged with this checklist to assist with your daily tasks. Additionally, pay attention to seasonal quests and side missions that might pop up as you wander through Miraland.
