The Black Flag Resynced Salt Lagoon treasure is tucked behind a large rock formation, making it easy to overlook. It’s one of the first treasure maps you can complete in Black Flag Resynced, so it’s a good idea to find it early. The reward is a nice pouch of Reales, which will prove handy later. Below, I’ve explained exactly where to dig for this treasure.
Location of the Salt Lagoon Treasure
The map for the Salt Lagoon treasure, found on Abaco Island, points to a spot at coordinates 719,607—just south of a tall rock on the northwestern beach.
This dig site can be tricky to spot. Look for the green ferns growing near the tall rock. Get close enough, and you’ll find the buried chest. Dig it up to find the Serpent Figurehead Design Plan for the Jackdaw and 3,000 Reales as your loot.
Finding this particular treasure can be a little tougher than others, but if you follow the map and get your timing right, you’ll be rewarded quickly. Remember, there’s also a lot to discover on Salt Lagoon: a Viewpoint at the end of a wrecked ship’s bowsprit on the southwest beach, a hidden chest in the sea off the south beach containing 1,000 Reales, and another secret treasure map on the northeast side of the beach. You can also find deer around the middle of the island, which may be part of your collection goals.

Keep an eye on things, and happy plundering!
