Helldivers 2 has introduced new Command Missions, which are more difficult versions of regular missions. These missions limit your resources and make strategic planning essential. One of the main features is that Stratagems and reinforcements are only available when your Super Destroyer is nearby. Unlike normal missions, the Super Destroyer can only stay in low orbit for one minute at a time, twice during each mission. When a mission starts, you have one minute to call in Stratagems—such as supplies or special weapons—before the ship leaves and all Stratagems become unavailable. You also get one chance to call the Super Destroyer back for an extra minute. After that, Stratagems are gone for the rest of the mission.

Starting these missions means you won’t have any reinforcements available initially. If you die, you are out unless you find and connect to Reinforcement Pods marked on your minimap, which can give you extra soldiers. Whenever enemies call for reinforcements, the danger level rises, bringing more enemies into the area, so expect increasing patrols as the mission continues.

Here are some tips for success:

– Use stealth whenever possible. Since resources are limited and reinforcements increase threat levels, sneaking around and avoiding detection helps you conserve resources and minimize enemy calls for reinforcements.
– Bring gear suited for stealth, like suppressed weapons from the Redacted Regiment Warbond, which are ideal for quiet takedowns.
– Equip heavy weapons such as the Anti-Materiel Rifle, Railgun, or Quasar Cannon to tackle tougher enemies like Hulks and fabricators, but remember to balance this with your stealth tactics.
– Use your Stratagems wisely; mostly carry support items like Supply Packs or expendable weapons. Save powerful Stratagems like the Orbital Laser for emergencies.
– Keep an eye on your minimap. Use the radar pulses from your armor or passive skills to detect enemies early and plan your movements.
– Take out weaker enemies quickly, especially those who can call reinforcements, to prevent escalation.
– Be frugal with ammo since resupplies are limited. Search for Points of Interest (POIs) to scavenge extra supplies and consider armor with increased POI detection to help find resources faster.

Remember, success depends on careful planning, stealth, and smart use of your limited resources. Familiarize yourself with enemy types like the Automatons to know how to defeat them efficiently. These challenging missions push your skills and strategic thinking to the limit.
