During this time, players can once again purchase the Season 0 Battle Pass, which will remain available alongside other purchased passes. Once you obtain a Battle Pass, you can earn rewards indefinitely by spending Chrono Tokens earned from completing missions.

The Costume Coin is a returning currency from the Pick-Up Bundle that allows you to purchase one skin for a character from a limited selection. At this event, players can use the Costume Coin to acquire one of the debut alternate costumes for the original 33 characters in the game. This includes skins like 2099 Punisher and Wolverine’s X-Men costume from Deadpool & Wolverine, among others.
The Chrono Shield Card is a new item that helps prevent point loss during a defeat in Marvel Rivals’ Competitive mode. Developers have stated that this only works in Gold rank or below, meaning it’s designed to support newer players in climbing above Bronze or Silver tiers. You can only hold up to 20 Shield Cards at a time, with your stock resetting at the end of each Season.

Finish Matches in Different Modes to Earn Rewards
To start earning rewards from Galacta’s Gift, just finish matches in Quick Play, Competitive, or Vs. AI. Completing 3 matches in any of these modes will clear a section of the event, unlocking the associated reward. For instance, finishing three matches at the start of the event will grant you a Doctor Doom Nameplate to equip.
At this time, it’s unclear whether you need to “recharge” Galacta’s Gift by waiting a certain period to progress through reward tiers. In the Pick-Up Bundle this event emulates, you had to wait after completing a reward before you could meet the requirements for the next one.
No additional missions are required to start claiming the offerings in Galacta’s Gift. In total, there are seven rewards available in the event, meaning you’ll likely need to complete 21 matches in the mentioned modes to unlock every tier, thereby granting you the Costume Coin, Chrono Shield Cards, and more cosmetics.
