Exciting news awaits fans of Disney Dreamlight Valley as the game unveils its second expansion pass, titled The Storybook Vale. Part One of The Storybook Vale is now available, while players eagerly anticipate the second installment slated for release in 2025, promising even more adventures and unique story quests. This expansion brings a wealth of new experiences, introducing beloved Disney characters such as Merida from Pixar’s Brave and Flynn Rider from Tangled, along with three stunning new biomes filled with countless items to discover.

In The Storybook Vale, players now have the chance to befriend an array of delightful new critters. Among these are baby Pegasi, owls, and the adorable Baby Dragons. You can find each of these charming critters throughout the three new biomes: the autumnal landscape of The Bind, the enchanting, storybook-inspired Everafter, and the mythologically rich world of Mythopia. Collecting critters presents its challenges, with Baby Dragons being one of the most endearing yet elusive additions in The Storybook Vale.

Various Locations in Everafter

You can discover Baby Dragons in the enchanting realm of Everafter. There are four distinct types to collect: the Blue Baby Dragon, Red Baby Dragon, Green Baby Dragon, and Purple Baby Dragon. Each dragon type appears in different areas of the Everafter biome at specific times. The Purple Baby Dragon is the most common, showing up daily in The Beanstalk Marshes from midnight until noon. Meanwhile, Blue Baby Dragons can be spotted in The Wild Woods from Tuesday to Friday at any time. Red Baby Dragons can be found in Teapot Falls from Saturday to Monday, and Green Baby Dragons appear in The Fallen Fortress from 10 AM to 6 PM, Sunday through Thursday.

What to Feed Dragons to Befriend Them

Gems, Magma, & Pure Ice

In The Storybook Vale, Baby Dragons have a taste for some unique treats. They enjoy any type of Gem, which players can gather by mining rocks, with their absolute favorites being Magma and Pure Ice. However, Baby Dragons can be quite shy and may curl up timidly when approached. To win their trust, you need to move slowly and pause in your approach, giving them time to relax before offering them a snack.

Unlike the initial critters such as owls that players encounter in The Storybook Vale, Baby Dragons require a bit more patience to befriend, with the process taking about three to four days. Although the Purple Baby Dragon is the most frequently seen one in Everafter, it also takes the longest to become friends with—approximately four days. In contrast, the Blue, Red, and Green Baby Dragons can be befriended in about three days. This means players can work on bonding with each of the Baby Dragons on a daily basis while also completing various quests and tasks throughout The Storybook Vale, all while anticipating the delightful moments they will share with these charming creatures in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
