Nyafia Overview
Nyafia is a Dark-type creature that was added in the Feybreak update for Palworld. This Pal is an excellent choice for both combat and base management. Nyafia boasts a solid mix of offensive and defensive capabilities, making it a formidable opponent against Neutral creatures, particularly thanks to its powerful Dark-type attacks. While Nyafia is useful on your adventures through Feybreak Island, its capabilities shine even more when utilized for base activities.
In addition to its combat prowess, Nyafia’s attacks can inflict poison on enemies, significantly weakening them during battles. Whether you decide to keep Nyafia for fighting is entirely up to you. It is especially beneficial for tasks such as crafting, gathering resources, logging, and transporting items, making it a reliable helper for various base activities.
Where to Find Nyafia in Palworld
Nyafia’s Regular & Alpha Locations
You can find Nyafia in Palworld through a couple of methods, especially prominently located at the entrance of Feybreak Island. The quickest way to reach Feybreak Island is by landing on the beach; as you venture deeper into the island, you’ll spot multiple Nyafias roaming around in the grass.
Nyafia is generally docile and won’t aggressively pursue players. You can walk near it or even aim to take pictures without much trouble. However, if you get too close, it may attack, so it’s best to strike first if you plan to capture it. As a rule of thumb, Nyafia won’t bother you if you don’t engage with it.
For those seeking the Alpha version of Nyafia, you can find it on Feybreak Island at coordinates (-1112, -939), located northwest of the Shield Dragon Tunnel teleport area. It’s advisable to be at least level 54 before challenging this Alpha, as there is no guarantee you’ll catch it, particularly without high-level spheres at your disposal.
How to Catch Nyafia
Recommended Character Level: 54
Catching Nyafia is quite similar whether you’re engaging the level 57 Alpha or the regular version found in Feybreak Island. Regular Nyafias typically hover around level 50, so make sure your character is at least level 54 to withstand Nyafia’s attacks effectively. Keep in mind that regular and great Pal Spheres will not work on Nyafia.
To improve your capture chances, make sure to use Ultra Spheres, though they offer limited success. Your best options are the Ultimate or Legendary Spheres. Given that Nyafia is a Dark-type, employing Dragon-type Pals such as Jormuntide, Astegon, or Relaxaurus could give you an advantage in battle. Keep your distance during the fight—Nyafia will focus on you if you get too close.
When battling Nyafia, exercise caution not to inflict too much damage, or you risk knocking it out. It’s wise to utilize weapons that deal moderate damage; for instance, crafting a Meowmere allows you to lower Nyafia’s health safely. Once you feel the timing is right, use your Pal Sphere to attempt a capture.
How to Breed Nyafia
What Pals Make Nyafia Eggs?
Breeding Nyafia in Palworld offers a good way to acquire this powerful Dark-type Pal without the need to catch it. You can create a Dark Egg that hatches into Nyafia by combining various Pal pairs. Some effective pairings include:
- Gorirat Terra and Xenolord
- Suzaku and Smokie
- Kingpaca and Celesdir
- Wumpo Botan and Loupmoon Cryst
- Leezpunk and Bastigor
- Kingpaca and Tarantriss
- Kikit and Cryolinx Terra
Note that breeding does not guarantee the desired Pal but increases your chances. One of the advantages of breeding is transferring valuable stats and specialized abilities from parent Pals to their offspring. To create the strongest Nyafia, select parents with high attack or defense stats and skills beneficial for combat, such as Lucky, Ferocious, or Musclehead for offense and Burly Body, Masochist, or Hard Skin for defense. Once you have obtained the Dark Egg, place it in an incubator and wait for it to hatch into Nyafia.
This breeding approach not only helps you obtain Nyafia but also offers the chance to enhance its attributes. If you don’t get the desired Pal on the first try, don’t hesitate to keep trying. You can also find Dark Eggs scattered throughout Feybreak Island to incubate.
