Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon unfolds its central storyline as players explore different regions, each unveiling more about the overarching tale and its characters. In the beginning, players focus on getting acclimated to the game mechanics and understanding their role in this world, especially their connection to King Arthur and how they can help him recover his lost memories.
Upon reaching the third region, the adventure grows in scope as you seek the final piece of Arthur’s memory. This task proves challenging, requiring you to persuade various tribes to attend the Moot. Only by gathering their support can you secure the last piece needed to progress.
How to Start the Flight Delayed Quest
As part of the main quest known as Sleep That Never Comes from the Theud tribe, you are tasked with easing the struggles of villagers trapped in the Dreaming, unable to access the Mother’s Chamber. One such villager is Jarnsvor, who you’ll find at the far end of the Dreaming near a ledge. Talk to him to uncover the cause of his distress.
Jarnsvor reveals that he is worried about his friend, a raven, whom he forgot to release from its cage. This moment marks the beginning of your quest to help him free the bird, triggering the Flight Delayed quest.
How to Complete the Flight Delayed Quest
Now that you understand the task at hand, your first move is to exit the Dreaming and return to the real world. Make your way past Yngvi’s house toward your objective marker; you’ll spot the birdcage from afar.
Approach the cage and use Jarnsvor’s Key to unlock it, which will set the raven free.
Now that the task is complete, return to the Dreaming and speak with Jarnsvor. After informing him that you freed the bird and showing proof, he will express his gratitude, lifting the burden he carried and concluding the quest.
