Disney Dreamlight Valley is packed with vibrant Disney and Pixar characters, each contributing their own unique narratives and functions within the village. With more than 50 characters to interact with, you will be engrossed in quests and gathering all the delightful treasures the Valley has to offer.
One of these charming characters is Alice, the inquisitive girl who fell down a rabbit hole into Wonderland. We’ll guide you on how to find her and help her settle into her new home in the Valley. However, not everything unfolds as expected.
Unlocking Alice
To unlock Alice, you’ll need to open the Realm door to Wonderland in the Dream Castle, which requires 15,000 Dreamlight. But, things take an unexpected turn.
Instead of simply walking through the door, it shrinks, and a white rabbit comes hopping out. Speak with Merlin, then chase the rabbit through the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow until you discover the rabbit hole. Grab the pocket watch the rabbit leaves behind, and slide down the hole after it!
Wonders of Wonderland Quest
Inside the rabbit hole, you’ll encounter Alice and the Cheshire Cat. After getting disoriented in the woods, you need to find hidden smiles throughout the forest and cook up some extra time to locate your lost friends.
Next, you will wander the forest, following the Mome Raths until you arrive at the Queen’s Maze.
The Queen’s Maze Quest
Within the Queen’s Maze, you must activate various levers to open gates leading deeper into the gardens, where Alice is waiting. You will need to evade the guards and sneak past the hedges to reach her safely.
Teeny, Tiny Problems Quest
Upon reaching Alice, you’ll notice she has shrunk to an incredibly small size. Instead of carrying her out, you’ll need to get a perfume recipe from the Cheshire Cat to help restore her size.
The required ingredients are scattered throughout the forest, and you’ll encounter several colorful characters along the way. Once you gather the ingredients for the perfume, you’ll assist Alice in retrieving the keys to the Queen’s animal cages to set them free.
Leaving Wonderland Quest
After rescuing the animals, Alice will ask you to paint the roses red and tidy up the chaos left by the escaping creatures. Following this, you’ll receive guidance from the Cheshire Cat about how to reopen the door back to the village.
Once back in the village, you’ll need to build a home for Alice. This will require a significant amount of Star Coins, but once it’s complete, she can officially move in.
Unlocking More of Alice’s Friendship Quests
To increase your friendship with Alice, you should spend time with her, give her gifts, serve her meals at the Valley restaurants, and complete her quests. With each few levels you gain, you’ll unlock new quests related to her role in the village.
Once you reach level ten, you’ll become best friends and unlock the final quest, which rewards you with an exclusive gift.
Building a friendship takes time, and relationships don’t develop overnight. However, once you reach level two, you can assign a role to Alice, allowing her to join you on your daily tasks.

With each level you gain, you’ll earn new rewards inspired by Alice in Wonderland. These include furniture pieces, motifs, and fashion items unique to Alice, allowing you to further personalize your experience in the game.
