In Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, not every quest centers around personal conflicts or everyday challenges. Some tasks are steeped in the larger adventure you’re undertaking, connecting to age-old myths, political alliances, or the very destiny of Avalon.
One notable task comes when you find yourself in Cuanacht. Here, you’re asked to gain support for Lord Yvain’s quest for the Holy Grail. One key figure is Neante, who will only consider joining Yvain if you prove your worth. To earn her trust, you must complete her quest, titled Where the Light Once Dwelt.
How to Convince Neante to Support Lord Yvain
To initiate her quest, you must talk to Neante, who is located within the Tarian Family Crypt, just northeast of the main city. During your conversation, she will express the need for your assistance at the altar east of the crypt for an important matter.
Head over to the altar, where Neante will be waiting. After you arrive, let her know you’re ready for the ritual. This will whisk you away to an alternate version of your current location, where Neante awaits.
Engage her in conversation and assure her of your presence, then continue talking. At one point, you will be faced with a decision. Make sure to choose ‘It will be, if you come with me. You have the gift of healing, and we need you.
Once this part is done, you’ll return to the real world near the altar again, where you can speak with Neante once more. She will be whole again and will thank you for your help with the successful ritual.
Your final task is to return to Cuanacht and visit Neante’s quarters. When you talk to her now, she will agree to accompany Lord Yvain on his quest for the Holy Grail.
