As you explore the world of Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, you’ll run into a variety of foes, including basic bandits, undead skeletons, and much more. To save you the trouble of searching aimlessly for skeletons, we’ve pinpointed the top location for discovering them in the game.
Fortunately, you won’t have to venture far from where you start—in fact, we’ll be focusing on the Horns of the South for these undead creatures. Whether you’re on the lookout for Skulls and Bones for crafting or just want a dependable spot to try out new builds against multiple enemies, this area is perfect for you.
What Are Skeletons and What Do They Drop?
Skeletons, also referred to as the undead, are the reanimated bodies of the long-deceased. They are naturally hostile and will attack without hesitation.
You can find various weapons and gear among their remains, but more importantly, they drop two key crafting materials: Skulls and Bones.
Wondering why you should hunt these? Skulls and Bones are crucial for your crafting needs, making it wise to gather them as you progress. They are especially valuable during the Revenant’s Armor quest.
Once you start the main quest with Fearghas and craft the Drowner, Festering, and Corpse Eater Armor for Osbryht, you’ll be able to craft the Revenant Armor.
What Are the Best Locations to Find Undead Skeletons?
Skeletons and other enemies spawn in higher numbers at specific hotspots, though you may occasionally encounter them scattered around at night. While they can be found in several places throughout the game, the best spot to encounter undead skeletons is the Forgotten Cemetery in the western-central part of the Horns of the South.
This area is a key location in a quest that requires you to pass through on your way to the Ancient Crypt, so you’re likely to discover it early on.
If you’d like to manage your battles better, here are some specific spawn points to keep in mind:
- Three skeletons usually appear in the northwestern section of the cemetery.
- Two to three skeletons are found near the Ancient Crypt, with two often stationed at the entrance and one wandering in from the east.
- Four to five skeletons spawn in the central-eastern part of the cemetery, close to the Ancient Crypt.
- At least one skeleton is always on guard at the southern entrance of the Forgotten Cemetery.
Once you clear the area, these enemies will respawn after a certain time. Feel free to take on some side quests or let some time pass by resting or fast traveling to distant locations to facilitate the refresh.
