In Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, unlocking trophies and achievements can often feel unclear. Some descriptions provide little guidance, while what seems straightforward can become quite challenging once you dive into it.
One such achievement is called “For Academic Purposes,” which instructs you to locate all books related to Liliana without any hints or clues. If you’re unsure who Liliana is, don’t fret—we’re here to assist you, all in the name of academic exploration.
How to Unlock the “For Academic Purposes” Achievement
Where to Find All Liliana Books
There are seven books about Liliana scattered throughout the game. However, you can only start finding these once you reach the second region, known as Cuanacht, so make sure you progress through the story until you arrive there.
When you’re ready, head to the main city in the center of the map. Look for a shop called Vrell’s Bookstore, which is located near the Cuanacht Main Square Fast Travel point.
Inside, you’ll meet Vrell, the shopkeeper. Speak with her until you can access her inventory.
Once you’re inside the shop, you can purchase five books related to Liliana:
- Beautiful Liliana In The Chamber Of Ecstasy
- Beautiful Liliana In The Dal Riata Captivity
- Beautiful Liliana And The Lustful Marquise
- Beautiful Liliana And The Forbidden Pleasure
- Beautiful Liliana And The Forbidden Pleasure, VOL 2
The other two books aren’t for sale but are displayed right on a shelf near the entrance.
These titles are:
- Beautiful Liliana And The Lustful Marquise, VOL 2
- Beautiful Liliana In The Dungeons Of Perversion
Alternatively, you can take these books from the shelf, but be aware that this will alert the guards. Stealing at night might be a better option.
After collecting all seven books, make sure to read them—by which we mean just open them. Then, the For Academic Purposes achievement will unlock!
