Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon
Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is packed with adventures, mysteries, and a bit of chaos, plunging you into a spiritual connection with the soul of King Arthur Pendragon. As you strive to piece together the faded memories of the king, you’ll embark on numerous quests and encounter a variety of unique characters throughout Avalon.
One of the notable quests you can discover in this game is called Lost Things. This amusing venture introduces you to a ghostly woman who loves stirring up trouble. Here’s how to get started with it.
How to Begin the Lost Things Quest
To kick off this quest, head over to the Forgotten Cemetery. In this area, you’ll come across an unassuming Small Crypt that leads you to a place known as the Cursed Mausoleum. After navigating through this eerie location and battling various Undead foes, you’ll eventually find an open space where a red-haired ghost awaits.
She’ll introduce herself as Maug, a playful spirit known for swiping items from around the region. Maug will propose a deal: she’ll lend you her abilities in exchange for a stolen item. The item can be anything; it doesn’t have to come from a specific location, and you don’t even have to pickpocket it. Feel free to sneak into any house, grab something from a chest while remaining undetected, and you’re all set.
A Friendly Reminder
Make sure you stay out of sight! If you’re caught, you might be marked as a thief, leading to some unwanted trouble.
Once you’ve secured an item, return to the Cursed Mausoleum and speak with Maug again. She’ll be thrilled about your little adventure and will share a piece of her power with you before bidding farewell.
Rewards for Completing the Quest
Completing the Lost Things quest grants you 500 XP and boosts your Sneak ability by 3 levels. And if you’re feeling adventurous, you can make a promise to Maug to steal a spoon in her memory—but that decision is entirely yours!
