Imagine being dropped onto a planet where no intelligent life has ever existed. You just lost your job, and your chatty robot companion never stops talking. To top it off, all your belongings were lost during the trip from Earth. But hey, at least you’ve got plenty of outfits to choose from. If you’re going to face challenges, you might as well do it in style.
In Revenge of the Savage Planet, looking good while exploring is just as vital—if not more so—than finding your lost gear. No matter how many times you get knocked out, you’ll always respawn. So let’s dive into finding every outfit available and embark on our stylish adventures through these uncharted worlds.
How Do Outfits Work?
In Revenge of the Savage Planet, outfits consist of four key parts: Helmet, Body, Gloves, and Boots. There are several complete sets available, but you’re free to mix and match pieces as you like.
You can also change the color of each piece, but keep in mind that color changes are saved by category. If you alter the color of a helmet, it will change color for all helmets. However, you can still customize each piece’s color, allowing for outfits that are beautifully coordinated or downright outrageous. The choice is yours!
How To Unlock New Outfit Colors
To unlock new outfit pieces, you’ll need to find Supply Crates scattered across the planet. Opening these will grant you new items to sport. However, obtaining new colors is a different challenge: you’ll need to capture creatures.
Each creature you capture (except for those that upgrade your gear) will unlock a unique color scheme for your outfits, encouraging you to capture as many as possible.
There’s one special color, gold, which can be unlocked by completing the D.I.A.P.E.R. Program DLC.
Once you capture a creature, simply research them back at the Habitat computer to unlock their color scheme. This is a one-time task; once you have a color, it’s yours for good. You can apply it to any piece of clothing as often as you like. Best of all, even though outfit pieces can be dyed separately, the colors apply universally across all pieces.
Every Outfit And How It Is Unlocked
Initially, there are 14 outfits available in the game. Five of these come standard, while the other nine must be found in Supply Crates across the game’s four main planets. Only the default color scheme is available from the start; all others require capturing creatures.
