While adventuring in Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, you’ll meet gods struggling with their memories and powers. After being caught in a storm and stranded, your mission becomes clear: unravel the mysteries and help the gods reunite to find a way back home. It’s a challenging task, but we’re here to guide you!
Poseidon is easy-going but possesses a resolute spirit. When you finally meet him, you’ll need to work together to help him fulfill his responsibilities and regain his memories. Here’s what you need to know to become friends with the sea god in Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island.
How to Unlock Poseidon
To unlock Poseidon, head to the far west end of the temple, past Aphrodite’s Gardens, and unlock the door there. You will need to collect three seals:
Once you have all three seals, open the door to enter Flotsam Harbor. This will introduce you to Poseidon, allowing you to begin the journey of helping him recover his lost memories.
If you can’t find Poseidon, try waiting on a nearby bench or running some errands before coming back later. He tends to sleep in!
Poseidon Friendship Level One
Poseidon’s task is to fill the fountains with water, but he hasn’t been able to do that yet. Now it’s your turn to help by filling each of the fountains around the island using the magic conch shell he gives you.
On your map, fountain locations in the accessible areas will be marked!
Get started on filling the fountains. You’ll notice special symbols on the ground with conch shells near the fountains that signify where to use your power. Once filled, the fish statues will open their eyes and spray water.
To achieve level one, you only need to refill three fountains. After that, return to Poseidon to discuss his lost memories. You’ll need to find the following items:
Poseidon will enable you to walk over waterways in marked areas, allowing access to remote spots on the island.
Memento Name |
Location |
---|---|
Clay Turtle |
Located in the Cloud Atrium, down a ramp to the east, at the base of a broken statue. |
Clay Dolphin |
In a barrel next to Hephaestus’ workshop, across the water. |
Clay Crab |
Behind the lighthouse, follow the path over the water to a small island. The clay crab is buried in sand there. |
Once you collect the mementos, hand them to Poseidon. This will elevate your friendship level to one and earn his trust, granting you access to the Cetus Seal and his personal chambers at any time.
Poseidon Friendship Level Two
To reach friendship level two, use the magic conch shell again to fill more of the dry fountains. This time, you’ll need to refill four fountains. Check your map to find out which ones you might have missed!
After refilling the fountains, it’s time to look for mementos again. Here’s the location of the next memento:
Memento Name |
Location |
---|---|
Stained Harpoon |
Found in a coconut tree on the southern beach, across the water. |
With just one memento to find, it’s straightforward to achieve friendship level two. Once you give this memento to Poseidon, he’ll share the poignant tale behind it and reveal why it holds significance for him.
Poseidon Friendship Level Three
To fully develop your relationship with Poseidon, you must fill the remaining fountains and discover the separate prongs of the trident lost to time.
Check your map thoroughly to ensure you don’t overlook any of the fountains hidden in the clouds, and then seek out each of the remaining mementos:
Memento Name |
Location |
---|---|
Pitted Prong |
On the northeastern beach, cross the water to find this memento among a pile of barrels. |
Bent Prong |
This is buried behind Aphrodite’s house. |
Sacred Prong |
This can be located in Hades’ chambers, beneath a pillar in the back right corner. |
After delivering these items to Poseidon, you’ll achieve level three friendship with him and receive the god of the sea’s soulstone, which you can place in the Gaia Cavern.
