Destiny Rising exotic weapons are highly sought after because they showcase the best of the game’s weaponry, offering high damage and rare traits. These weapons are also seen as a symbol of status for players. There are many exotic weapons to find, but locating them can be difficult. To make things easier, here are the different ways you can earn exotic weapons in Destiny Rising, along with a list of all the available Exotics so far.

How to get Exotics in Destiny Rising

There are three main ways to acquire exotic weapons in Destiny Rising. The easiest method is by completing the 14-Day Sign-In event simply by logging in every day. On Day 7 and Day 14, you’ll earn an Exotic Choice Engram, which allows you to pick one of three Exotics: Borealis, Crimson, or The Huckleberry.

The second way is through the seasonal Battle Pass. Players who buy the Premium Battle Pass will unlock Exotics faster, typically around level 10. However, even free players can earn Exotics if they reach level 50 by the end of the season. For example, in the current season, Furies III can be obtained via this method, so it’s good to keep making progress before the season ends on October 9.

The third route involves completing end-game activities, which will reward you with Exotic Weapon Engrams. You’ll need to finish most of the main storyline missions first. Once you’ve completed Chapter 4-2 and the Armageddon mission, you’ll unlock access to Gauntlet Ops and Legendary Campaign modes, where activities will give you Exotic Engrams as rewards.

All Destiny Rising Exotics

Here’s a list of all the exotic weapons discovered so far. The table includes details about the weapon type, which characters can use them, and where you can find each one:

  • Borealis (Sniper Rifle, Void, used by Tan-2, Umeko; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • The Chaperone (Shotgun, Void, Gwynn, Xuan Wei; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • Concerto (Sidearm, Void, Gwynn; from Exotic Weapon Engram, Store Bundle)
  • Crimson (Hand Cannon, Arc, Attal; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • Furies III (Pulse Rifle, Solar, Estela, Kabr; from Battle Pass)
  • Gallows (Machine Gun, Void, Estela, Kabr; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • Heir Apparent (Machine Gun, Solar, Estela, Kabr; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • The Huckleberry (Submachine Gun, Void, Jolder, Ning Fei; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • Izanagi’s Burden (Sniper Rifle, Solar, Tan-2, Umeko; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • Jötunn (Fusion Rifle, Solar, Xuan Wei; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • Mahamayuri (Auto Crossbow, Arc, Ning Fei; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • Octant Riot Disperser (Shotgun, Arc, Gwynn, Xuan Wei; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • The Old Prefect (Hand Cannon, Solar, Attal; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • Partridge Sky (Sword, Solar, Finnala, Jolder; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • Polaris Lance (Scout Rifle, Solar, Tan-2, Umeko; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • Riskrunner (Submachine Gun, Arc, Jolder, Ning Fei; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • Royal Contravene (Linear Fusion Rifle, Arc, Attal; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • Satiyaaliksni Smart Bomb (Grenade Launcher, Arc, Wolf; from Campaign Mission)
  • Sweet Business (Auto Rifle, Solar, Finnala, Wolf; from Exotic Weapon Engram)
  • Two-Tailed Fox (Rocket Launcher, Void, Ikora; from Exotic Weapon Engram)

Getting specific exotic weapons can be tricky because most involve luck with the Engram drops and character compatibility through the game’s gacha system. Keep trying, and eventually, you’ll add them to your collection.

If you’re not happy with your initial draws for characters and gear, there’s also a Destiny Rising reroll option to help improve your chances.
