Discovering Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 5 can enhance your classic car collection as you roam through the diverse landscapes of Mexico. From worn-down rally cars to sparkling supercars in need of a little TLC, finding these treasures can be quite an adventure. Much like its predecessors, this game allows you to gather rumors from Horizon Festival staff while navigating the Horizon Adventure campaign. There are 14 Barn Finds in total, each revealing the approximate location of a hidden barn that houses a vintage vehicle. Below, you’ll find detailed descriptions of all Barn Find locations to help you build your dream garage.
Finding All Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 5
To locate all the Barn Finds, you can’t simply wander about at the game’s start. First, you’ll need to gather rumors from various Horizon Festival representatives, such as Alex or Alejandra. Most of the rumors are linked to your progress in the Horizon Adventure, but some are accessible through alternate means, like purchasing the La Cabaña property in the northwest corner of the map, which will also provide you with a Barn Find rumor. You can find all 14 Barn Finds before finishing the Horizon Adventure. Once you obtain a rumor, check your map for a large purple circle with a barn icon within it. The barn will be somewhere inside this purple area, so you’ll have to explore that region.
After reaching the purple zone, search for a white building with yellow doors. Once you spot it, approach the barn to trigger a cutscene where your character, alongside a Horizon representative, opens the barn to reveal a dilapidated car awaiting restoration. Even after you collect the car, the barn location remains marked on your map for reference. You can also use empty barns to send and receive vehicles from other players!
Once you rescue a car, it’s sent to your collection but won’t be ready for use until it’s repaired. This process takes time, but you can speed it up by using in-game Credits (CR) to complete the repairs instantly. The restoration time correlates with the CR value of the needed repairs, and as you wait, the repair costs gradually decrease.
For instance, vehicles like the GMC Jimmy take under an hour to repair with initial costs below 100,000 CR, while the Ferrari 250 GTO requires several hours and over 30 million CR for repairs. You’ll receive a notification once the restoration is complete, and to collect your restored vehicle, head to one of your houses and check the Barn Finds section under the ‘Garage’ tab. Restored cars will show a ‘ready to collect’ icon.
Below are the locations for all 14 Barn Finds, along with the cars you’ll uncover. The accompanying map images indicate the start of the dirt track leading to each barn, so use them for easy navigation. The cars are listed in the order of their discovery, although your order may vary.
