In MySims, stars are not just decorative; they are essential for unlocking new residents, locations, and useful tools that can help your town flourish. However, collecting these stars requires some hard work. You’ll need to assist the Sims with various tasks, from managing businesses to fulfilling their specific requests.
Completing tasks moves you closer to filling your star meter, and with each level you attain, there are exciting rewards in store. Are you ready to ascend the star ranks and unlock tools that can eliminate physical barriers in the game? This guide will be your helpful resource.
What Are Stars?
Stars serve as the key to unlocking new residents, areas, and tools, allowing for the growth of your town and advancement in the game. You can find your current star level along with a progress bar in the top left corner of your screen.
Achieving new star levels comes with valuable rewards, such as blueprints for new structures and tools required to remove obstacles that prevent access to new regions. However, accumulating stars will take more than just time; it demands a focused effort toward helping the Sims and completing essential tasks.
How to Increase Your Star Level
To begin earning stars, you’ll need to assist Commercial Sims and attract Townie Sims to your community.
Commercial Sims are the individuals running businesses in your town, such as Poppy, the florist, and her sister, the spooky-themed Violet Nightshade. You’ll also meet characters like Buddy, who manages the Town Hotel, and Patrick Rhino, a retired truck driver eager for more dining options in town.
Each completed task for a Sim awards you points that help fill your star meter. Regular tasks yield 100 points, while the final task for a Sim grants a larger bonus of 200 points. Completing more tasks allows you to accumulate points and steadily fill the star meter.
Once the meter is full, you will advance to the next star level.
As you unlock new star levels, you gain access to valuable items that facilitate exploration and town expansion. For instance, upon reaching Star Level Three, you will receive a pickaxe, allowing you to clear rock piles that block paths to previously locked areas, such as the desert. Each new star level moves you closer to discovering new areas and game content.
