In the survival horror game Project Zomboid, you begin in a town overrun by zombies. Not only do you have to contend with these relentless foes, but the scarcity of essential supplies poses a significant challenge as well. In this dangerous world, you’ll need to rely on your intelligence and perseverance to survive.
Monitoring your health is crucial for staying alive. This means making sure you’re eating well, staying hydrated, treating any injuries, and keeping your body in shape. Regular physical activity can significantly boost your chances of surviving, but if your character isn’t fit, they will face the consequences of fatigue.
How to Combat Exercise Fatigue
When you exercise, you may experience a condition known as Exercise Fatigue, which is caused by muscle stiffness. The severity of this fatigue depends on the type of exercise you perform and may lead to pain in certain areas of your body.
While your muscles are fatigued, you may find that your ability to perform tasks is compromised, and your odds of survival decrease.
Sadly, the only way to alleviate Exercise Fatigue is to give it time to pass. However, you can lessen its effects by increasing the Regularity of your workouts. Each type of exercise has a Regularity score displayed in a bar beneath the exercise options. Consistently performing an exercise will fill up this bar, helping to reduce the fatigue you feel from working out.
Professions That Enhance Regularity
If you want to minimize fitness issues, consider choosing a character from a profession that starts with higher fitness levels. For instance, a Fitness Instructor has a moderate Regularity advantage for all workouts, while a Fire Officer enjoys a slight boost to their Regularity as well.
