Mumbai: Tom Holland, known for his role as ‘Spider-Man,’ is currently in a relationship with fellow actor Zendaya. The couple has been quite open about their romance, frequently sharing their moments together on social media and at red carpet events.
However, Holland recently made an unexpected remark regarding his appearances alongside Zendaya at red carpet events. In a recent interview, he stated that while he enjoys walking the red carpet with her when they are both involved in the same project, he feels it’s inappropriate to accompany her for the premieres of her solo films.
During the discussion, Holland also recounted a humorous incident from a family gathering in England. He shared that one of his cousins challenged him to perform a backflip. Playfully, Zendaya teased him, asking if he was still able to execute the move. Although he successfully completed the backflip, he ended up straining every muscle in his abdomen.
As a result, Tom mentioned that he couldn’t even laugh for weeks due to the soreness in his stomach.
For those who may not know, Tom Holland and Zendaya have appeared together in three Spider-Man films: Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The pair is set to reunite in the upcoming Spider-Man fourth installment. Additionally, they will both star in Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of The Odyssey, which is based on the classic Greek epic.
This timeless tale has seen various adaptations over the years, including the 1997 film The Odyssey with Armand Assante and Greta Scacchi, 1954’s Ulysses featuring Kirk Douglas, Silvana Mangano, and Anthony Quinn, and the 2024 film The Return with Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche.
