Apple has officially updated its iWork suite for macOS and iOS, introducing new features designed to enhance productivity in its Pages, Numbers, and Keynote applications. The update, released on December 12, adds support for three key Apple Intelligence functionalities.
According to Apple’s release notes, the new versions—Pages 14.3, Numbers 14.3, and Keynote 14.3—integrate advanced writing tools. These tools assist users in proofreading, summarizing, rewriting, and generating text, with the text generation capabilities powered by ChatGPT technology.
Additionally, Siri has been enhanced to leverage ChatGPT for answering questions related to the content of presentations, documents, and spreadsheets.
The updated iWork applications also introduce the “Image Playground” feature, allowing users to create original images for inclusion in their documents.
It’s important to note that these new Apple Intelligence features require devices that support this technology. Users will need to have an iPhone 15 Pro, any model of the iPhone 16, a Mac with Apple silicon, any iPad equipped with Apple silicon, or the iPad mini 7 to access the latest tools.
